Should you be upset if you boy-friend is drinking and trying to hid it from you?

Well, you know what you heard, whether he'll admit it or not. I would say, you should now realize that this is one aspect of his personality that is unfolding for you. He is not being right up front with you for some reason. Why would he have to hide the fact he's drinking? Unless something about that bothers him. Like he suspects he's an alcoholic. So you'll have to decide is he worth the trouble to get involved in a situation like this. Alcoholism is a life-time problem. I'd say you're seeing the first bad sign of it. But that'll have to be your decision. Do you want to be with a guy that lies to you or is less than honest about himself? Actions and choices have consequences.
