What are your thoughts on a Sunday afternoon weddng/reception?

Depends on if you have out of town guests coming. I once went to a wedding that was at 11am on a Sunday. I ended up having to leave at 4:30 and we had only just been served the salad. I felt so bad but I had to work the next day and couldn't stay. I was there for the most important part (the ceremony) but they were probably stuck paying for a whole plate for us when we barely touched our salads. I just didn't think it would last that long. Make sure you guests know in case they have a long drive so they can take Monday off work.
