WHAT IS THE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF A LCD SCREEN, AND WHAT CAN I DO TO TAKE CARE OF IT.?

by what i have read it is 5 to 7 years for the life expectancy and when you are not using your computer turn your monitor off to save the screen itself. i shut mine off by the option in your display properties under screen saver, then go to power and choose the time to shut off your monitor.
