Why are immigrant workers gaining jobs during the current jobs depression while Americans are losing jobs?

What's wrong with that exactly? I'm guessing because you didn't say illegal immigrants you're not talking about them, so that means the immigrants are residents/citizens. So..... I'm failing to see the problem.....
