Now that the House and Senate in California have ped bills legalizing gay marriage............?

for two years in a row, and that according to all surveys, a majority of the people of California are in favor of it, Why is Gov. Arnol Swazinager (R) threatening to veto it? Especially when he alleges he has had many gay/ friends in his lifetime? Does he know what friendship is?
