Why are the big players turning down the EPL big four?

not neccessarily this season... players want to bring a team from the bottom up... take them to cl football and beyond... and i dont understand why players dont want to go to tottenham... i have only been following football in england for a few years... to me tottenham is right on the verge of being a huge club... between man city and everton... and i think it is only a matter of time before big players realize tottenham have been doing huge things without huge players and start to want to go there...
